Looking for a fic

Hey everyone! I'm looking for an FK fic called Death has no Dominion. I know it was once a fanzine, but I was wondering if it's posted online somewhere or inf it's available on a mailing list. Thanks in advance!

Do you know the author and can you provide a short summary? It might make searching for it easier. It does sound familiar. Initially I thought it was one of Kathy Whelton's, but I mixed that up.

It's by Marg Baskin, it won a fanfic award in 1997. It takes place after Jane Doe, Tracy gets stabs and Vachon brings her across.

I checked all the usual archives, but couldn't find it either. It does have an entry in the FK Wiki, but it doesn't say where it can be found. Sorry.

According to Fanlore Wiki (http://fanlore.org/wiki/Death_Has_No_Dominion_(Forever_Knight_zine)), it was a fanzine published by Anime House Press.

Anime House Press was apparently created by Marg Baskin (which kind of brings us round in a circle). I can't find any other mention of the publisher by googling, which suggests it no longer exists.

Maybe you can pick up a second hand copy somewhere.

I've tried that, it's confusing because I found it on a war archive almost 10 years ago and started reading it, but my comp died. By the time I got a working one, (a few years later) I couldn't find the archive. I've tried going to FKFIC-L but I can't seem to access the archives. Do you know anyone on the list who could help me?

It was actually in a war archive? That's odd; they usually only contain the war-related material. The Forever Knight Wiki has some information on the wars, including the location of the extant archives. You could check the pages listed here: http://foreverknight.wikia.com/wiki/Category:FK_Wars

The mailing list archives were discontinued long ago. I think they were too much for Penn State to keep on their servers, way back in the old days when server space cost more than it does today. Although Nancy Br. preserves FORKNI-L archives dating back to 2000 (and a few from 1996), there are no FKFIC-L archives, per se. Unfortunately, that does mean that some early stories must have got lost; and others that were printed in fanzines never made the transition to the web.

Beyond that, I can only suggest that you post a query on FORKNI-L. Someone may have a copy of the actual fanzine.

I'm incredibly confused about how those lists work.

The story wasn't in the war archive, information about it was and I found it from there.

I have a copy of Death Has No Dominion if you want it.
